The Church History
The Redeeming Love Missionary Baptist Church Ministry is the fulfillment of a vision, that the Lord planted into the hearts of Rev. T.K. Ashley, Sr., and Minister Autry B. Ashley while residing in Hamden, Connecticut. In January 1999, God spoke that it was time to move into the Ministry that he had shown Pastor & Min Ashley here in Raleigh, North Carolina.

After much prayer, Pastor Ashley shared God’s instruction with Deacon James Whitner, Jr.

Pastor Ashley and Deacon Whitner began to pray and seek God’s direction regarding the structure of this ministry and those persons he would have to assist in formulating this Ministry.

The Lord then placed the names of Deacon Collin Brown, Jr. and Minister Asa Bell, Jr. in their hearts. On February 20, 1999, Deacon James Whitner and Pastor Ashley sat down with Deacon Collin Brown and Minister Asa Bell to discuss activating the Ministry that God had given to Pastor Ashley. After much prayer and supplication, a follow-up meeting was held on February 22, 1999, and the aforementioned four (4) men decided to step out and organize a formal body of believers.
